YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE The Manufacturing Sales Coordinator role is a 50/50 split role reporting directly to the Director of Sales and working closely with the Director of Production.

As Manufacturing

Coordinator, the hired candidate will be the link between our sales and production teams, ensuring every manufacturing order is captured accurately, set up correctly in our ERP and ready for the shop floor. As a Salesperson, the hired candidate will sell manufactured and specialty wood products and be a go-to resource for the sales team on manufacturing, pricing, sourcing and wood species. Full training on our products, pricing and processes will be provided but industry experience or previous manufacturing experience is considered an asset.

Schedule: 42.5 hours a week Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays as required

Wage Structure: Base salary starting at $55,000 + Bonus

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review incoming sales orders for manufactured products and confirm species, grade, dimensions, profiles, quantities and finishing are complete and accurate before release to production;
- Set up manufacturing sales orders and work orders in our ERP accurately and on time;
- Act as the main point of contact between sales and production, resolving questions before they reach the mill floor;




- Work with the Director of Production to ensure our documentation standards are met and follow ;
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Director of Production to develop and improve workflows, tools, and methods
- Identify recurring order-entry errors and develop training/methods that prevent them;
- Sell manufactured and specialty wood products to contractors, architects, designers and homeowners;
- Support quoting and pricing on custom and manufactured work;
- Act as a technical resource to the sales team on manufacturing capabilities, wood species, pricing and sourcing;
- Work directly on the sales counter, answering phones and working with clients on custom projects;
- Coach salespeople to capture manufacturing requirements correctly at the point of sale;
- Provide excellent customer service;
- Other tasks as required.

WHAT YOU NEED

- Professional approach and presence
- Outstanding attitude: have initiative, display excellent follow-up, have a positive outlook and be a pleasure to work with
- Teachability and a desire to learn
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to turn customer requirements into clear, accurate specifications;
- 3-5 years of experience of sales or customer service experience, ideally in lumber, building materials, millwork or manufacturing; OR
- 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment or shop;
- Knowledge of wood products and manufacturing processes is an asset; we will train the right candidate;
- Experience with CNC, fabrication, using CAD software and/or reading shop drawings a strong assets;
- Experience with an ERP system is an asset;
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Teams
- Ability to speak French is considered an asset
- High school diploma essential; College diploma/university degree is considered an asset.
