About Authentic Living London

Authentic Living London is an established psychotherapy clinic in London, Ontario, providing in-person and virtual therapy to individuals, couples, adolescents and families.

Our clinic has grown considerably since opening, and we now have a diverse team of therapists offering support across a wide range of mental health concerns. We have an established website, a strong library of educational content, an active community presence, professional referral relationships and multiple marketing channels already in place.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing & Client Acquisition Manager to help us build on that foundation and lead the next stage of our growth.

About the Role

This is a hands-on marketing role with a strong focus on client acquisition and business development.

While social media and content creation may be part of the overall strategy, this is not primarily a social media or content creation position. Our main goal is to increase qualified client inquiries and bookings, and we are looking for someone who is excited about developing and implementing strategies that produce measurable growth.

You will work directly with the clinic owner to develop and implement strategies that increase awareness of our services, strengthen referral relationships and, most importantly, help more prospective clients find and connect with the therapists who can support them.

We are looking for someone who enjoys both the creative and analytical sides of marketing. You should be interested in understanding what drives results, testing new approaches, measuring their effectiveness and using what you learn to continually improve our marketing strategy.

You will have considerable autonomy in this position. The clinic owner will provide expertise about psychotherapy, our services, our clients and the mental health field. We are looking for someone who can bring complementary expertise in marketing, growth and client acquisition.

You will develop and implement an overall marketing and client-acquisition strategy for the clinic.

Depending on the opportunities you identify, this may include local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, website conversion, AEO, email marketing, paid advertising, community marketing, social media and campaign development. Business development will also be an significant part of the role. Authentic Living London receives referrals from professionals and organizations throughout the community, and we would like to continue expanding those relationships.

You may connect with physicians and healthcare providers, lawyers, funeral homes, schools, community organizations, employers and other professionals whose clients may benefit from psychotherapy. This could include email and telephone outreach, networking, community events, face-to-face meetings and ongoing relationship building.

Because we work in mental healthcare, our approach to business development is relationship-based rather than high-pressure.

We want referral partners and prospective clients to understand who we are, what we offer and when we may be a helpful resource.

You will also help us strengthen our ability to track where inquiries and new clients are coming from so that we can make informed decisions about where to invest our marketing time and resources.

What Success Looks Like

Our primary marketing goal is sustainable growth in qualified client inquiries and bookings.

We will work together to establish appropriate benchmarks and key performance indicators, which may include qualified inquiries, consultations, new-client bookings, referral activity, website conversions, marketing-attributed revenue and the performance of paid campaigns.

We recognize that marketing requires experimentation and that not every initiative will produce the desired result. We value someone who is curious about the data, willing to test ideas and comfortable changing direction when the evidence suggests a better opportunity.

During the first 30 days, we would expect you to become familiar with the clinic, review our existing marketing and analytics, identify priority opportunities and begin implementing your initial strategy.

Over the following 60–90 days, we hope to develop a clearer picture of which channels and strategies are producing meaningful growth and where we should concentrate our efforts.

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit for this role if you have experience developing marketing or business-development strategies that have produced measurable growth in leads, customers, clients or revenue.

Experience marketing a service-based business is particularly valuable. Experience within healthcare, mental health, professional services or another local service industry would be an asset.

Formal education in marketing, business, communications or a related field is welcome, although demonstrated experience and results are equally important to us.

You should be comfortable working independently, developing strategy, implementing campaigns, reviewing performance data and making recommendations based on what you discover.

Experience with several of the following would be helpful: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, local SEO, Google Business Profile, Wix, email marketing, conversion optimization, Meta advertising, TikTok advertising and marketing attribution.

More importantly, you should also enjoy relationship building and feel comfortable reaching out to professionals and organizations in the community to introduce the clinic, explore opportunities for collaboration and develop referral relationships.

Hours and Compensation

This position will begin at approximately 10–15 hours per week, with compensation of $40–$50 per hour,

depending on experience and demonstrated expertise.

There is an opportunity for the position and hours to grow as the clinic continues to grow.

We are looking for someone interested in building a longer-term relationship with the clinic and becoming an important part of our continued development.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume along with brief responses to the following questions:

1. Tell us about a marketing or business-development strategy you personally developed that produced measurable growth. What did you do, and what were the results?

2. Imagine you joined a psychotherapy clinic that wanted to significantly increase new-client bookings. What would you want to learn during your first few weeks, and where would you begin?

3. How have you measured whether marketing activities were actually generating leads, customers or clients?

4. Tell us about a marketing initiative that didn't produce the results you expected. What did you learn, and what did you do next?

5. Please tell us about any experience you have with business development, networking, partnerships, professional outreach or referral development.

We're interested in hearing about the work you've actually done, the way you think about marketing and the results you've been able to achieve.

Working With Us

Authentic Living London is built around the belief that people deserve to feel understood, respected and supported. That philosophy extends to the way we communicate about our services and the way we work together as a team.

Marketing mental healthcare requires both business sense and humanity. We want to grow, but we want to do so in a way that is ethical, thoughtful and consistent with who we are as a clinic.

If you're excited by the opportunity to take ownership of marketing strategy, build meaningful community relationships and help a growing psychotherapy practice reach more people who are looking for support, we'd love to hear from you.
