Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical General Foreman to lead and oversee mechanical construction projects from start to finish. This vital role involves managing on-site operations, supervising skilled trades, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. As a Mechanical General Foreman, you will play a key role in coordinating activities, managing resources, and delivering projects on time and within budget, all while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise mechanical construction crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Coordinate daily site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking using construction management software such as Primavera P6.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify project requirements and facilitate accurate execution.
- Monitor quality control processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, controlling materials usage, and assisting with construction estimating as needed.
- Utilize construction management tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication across teams.




- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety standards and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly and keep projects on schedule.

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in mechanical construction or related fields with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Extensive construction experience with knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating techniques.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise execution of work.
