Medical Aesthetician / Advanced Laser Specialist

Ganieve Skin & Wellness – Kitchener, ON

Full-Time | $27–$35 per hour + commission

Ganieve Skin & Wellness is a new medical aesthetics clinic opening in Kitchener. We are looking for an experienced, professional Medical Aesthetician with hands-on experience using medical-grade laser or energy-based devices.

Our clinic features Fotona laser and multi-technology aesthetic systems. Device-specific training will be provided. Applicants must already have experience performing laser or advanced aesthetic treatments; Fotona experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Perform aesthetic treatments within your training, competence, and the clinic’s approved protocols.
- Conduct thorough client consultations, discuss suitable treatment options, and refer clinical questions to the appropriate regulated provider.
- Explain procedures and provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain accurate client records, consent documentation, and before-and-after photographs.
- Follow infection prevention, equipment safety, room-cleaning, and clinic documentation procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the clinic’s Medical Director and leadership team.
- Support client follow-up, retention, treatment packages, and retail recommendations.
- Participate in training and contribute to a professional, welcoming client experience.

Qualifications




- At least 2 years of experience in medical aesthetics or a comparable clinical aesthetics setting.
- Hands-on experience with medical-grade laser or energy-based aesthetic devices.
- Experience with Fotona is preferred; experience with IPL, radiofrequency, microneedling, skin rejuvenation, or laser hair removal is an asset.
- Strong consultation, communication, and client-service skills.
- Professional, organized, and attentive to safety and documentation.
- A recognized aesthetics qualification and current certifications relevant to your training and experience.
- Comfortable appearing in clinic marketing content is an asset.
