The position of Medical Radiation Technologist is responsible for all X-ray examinations as requested by the referring physician to produce high quality studies for interpretation.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) in positive standing
- Experience with Velox RIS and PACS preferred
- Sound knowledge of general radiography and special procedures as required
- Sound knowledge of radiation protection and the safe efficient operation of the X-ray equipment
- Ability to provide superior patient care and consciousness of the patient’s safety and welfare
- Professional demeanor and superior organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and to complete the work efficiently in the allotted time
- Strong interpersonal verbal and non-verbal communication skills (Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in additional language(s) preferred)
