Sarata Manufacturing Inc. is a sheet metal fabrication shop in Windsor, Ontario, providing laser cutting, forming and bending, MIG/TIG welding, powder coating, and assembly for industrial customers. We are hiring an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to fabricate stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum sheet metal parts to drawing. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity on day shift.
Responsibilities: MIG and TIG welding of stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum sheet metal parts to drawings; fit-up, tacking, and assembly of fabricated components; weld finishing and grinding to required quality standards; read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols; perform basic quality checks on completed work.
Requirements: 2+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience in a fabrication setting; ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings; strong attention to detail and commitment to quality; CWB certification is an asset.
