RTI Equipment Solutions Inc. is growing, and we're looking for two experienced Mobile Preventative Maintenance Technicians to join our expanding Service Department.

As a trusted provider of heavy equipment rentals, sales, parts and service, RTI has built its reputation on delivering exceptional customer service, reliable equipment and responsive support.

With continued growth in our customer base and service operations, we are expanding our mobile preventative maintenance capabilities and are seeking two motivated, dependable professionals to operate our dedicated Mobile Preventative Maintenance and Lube Trucks.

These fully equipped trucks allow our technicians to perform scheduled maintenance directly at customer locations, helping keep equipment operating efficiently while minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a company-supplied Mobile Preventative Maintenance and Lube Truck to service heavy construction equipment at customer locations.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance services, including engine oil and filter changes, hydraulic system inspections, fluid replacement, lubrication and general equipment servicing.
- Complete comprehensive equipment inspections to identify wear, damage, potential mechanical failures and additional service requirements.
- Collect oil and fluid samples as required for equipment condition monitoring and analysis.
- Accurately complete preventative maintenance checklists, inspection reports, work orders and service documentation.
- Communicate identified deficiencies and recommended repairs to RTI's Service Department for appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain the mobile service truck, tools, equipment and inventory in a clean, organized and safe operating condition.




- Manage daily service schedules efficiently to ensure customer commitments and maintenance timelines are achieved.
- Follow all company safety procedures, environmental regulations and proper handling and disposal practices for oils, filters and other service materials.
- Communicate professionally with customers, site supervisors and RTI team members.
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs and additional equipment servicing when required.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence – Mandatory. Applicants must be legally qualified to operate our larger Mobile Preventative Maintenance and Lube Trucks.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience servicing or repairing heavy construction equipment, diesel-powered machinery or comparable commercial equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, lubrication systems and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Experience performing oil changes, filter replacements, equipment inspections and fluid servicing.
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational, time-management and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately complete service documentation and communicate maintenance findings.
- Valid driver's abstract demonstrating a safe driving record.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Additional Qualifications Considered an Asset-But NOT A MUST HAVE
- Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician, 310T Truck and Coach Technician, or 425A Agricultural Equipment Technician certification.
- Previous experience operating a mobile lube truck or field service vehicle.
- Experience servicing excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers and other heavy construction equipment.
- Familiarity with equipment inspection software, electronic work orders and maintenance reporting systems.

Work Schedule We are hiring two full-time technicians to provide expanded preventative maintenance coverage for our customers.





- Position 1: Monday through Saturday
- Position 2: Tuesday through Sunday
- 44-hour workweek
- Alternating shift coverage to support customer requirements
- Weekend availability is a requirement of this position

- Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.
