Duties

- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble meals according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation are top-notch
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to accurately process orders and payments
- Manage food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen setting
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy and confidence, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain proper food safety practices by adhering to sanitation standards and food industry regulations




- Assist in managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong understanding of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience in serving or cashiering roles is advantageous; a background in the food industry helps you hit the ground running
