Responsibilities

- Provide professional massage therapy tailored to each client’s needs.
- Assess health history and physical concerns to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Deliver treatments to support pain relief, recovery, mobility, relaxation, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential SOAP notes and client records.
- Provide guidance on post-treatment care, stretching, and self-care.
- Communicate professionally with clients and provide a positive experience that encourages ongoing care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment space while following all health and sanitation standards.
- Stay current with industry standards, continuing education, and licensing requirements.
- Arrive on time and maintain punctuality for all scheduled shifts and appointments

Qualifications

- Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)



in positive standing with the applicable provincial regulatory body; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Clinical experience is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of anatomy, therapeutic techniques, and medical terminology.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Professional, reliable, organized, and client-focused.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
- Commitment to ongoing education and licensing requirements.
- Valid professional liability insurance.

Certifications and Skills Considered an Asset

- Lymphatic Drainage Massage
- TMJ Treatment
- Thai Massage
- Cupping Therapy
- Shockwave Therapy
- Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities
