Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and service areas, following proper food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks within shift deadlines while supporting ongoing restaurant operations
- Assist with food safety compliance by monitoring temperatures, storage, and sanitation practices
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities




- Conduct routine inventory checks and restock supplies as needed
- Support opening or closing procedures to ensure smooth shift transitions

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and secure food handling practices
- Experience using POS systems, especially Micros POS, for transactions and order management
- Strong cash handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and kitchen safety procedures
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in serving or cashiering roles is a plus; restaurant experience is highly valued
