: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients.

Education
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
Other Education and Training
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Competency in psychiatric nursing assessments, care planning & treatment
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Knowledge of commonly used psychotropic medications
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act

- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
