The Role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner to join our Clinical Quality team remotely. You will review patient encounters, clinical documentation, treatment plans, and prescribing practices to ensure they meet regulatory requirements, evidence-based standards, and our internal protocols. You will play a key role in continuous quality improvement across the organization.

Open to NPs registered in any Canadian province or territory.

Role Details

- Location: Remote (Canada)
- Employment type: Independent contractor or part-time employee
- Hours: 2 to 10 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible, with weekly review and reporting expectations
- Compensation: $60 to $120 per hour, based on experience and provincial licensing

What You'll Do

- Conduct quality reviews of patient charts, assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation
- Evaluate adherence to evidence-based guidelines, professional standards, and organizational protocols
- Review prescribing decisions and treatment recommendations for appropriateness, safety, and compliance
- Identify documentation gaps, clinical risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Give clear, constructive, actionable feedback to the team
- Support QA initiatives, internal audits, and process improvement projects




- Monitor compliance with applicable provincial regulations, practice standards, and company policies
- Prepare concise review summaries, audit reports, and performance insights for clinical leadership
- Escalate patient safety, prescribing, or compliance concerns when appropriate
- Track quality metrics and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives

What You Bring

- Current NP registration in good standing with a Canadian provincial regulatory body
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an NP
- Experience reviewing patient records and evaluating clinical decision-making
- Excellent written communication and professional feedback skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality
- Comfort with EMRs and digital healthcare platforms

Nice to Have

- Experience in virtual care, telemedicine, primary care, weight management, women's health, men's health, preventative medicine, or chronic disease management
- Background in clinical QA, chart auditing, utilization review, peer review, or regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and performance measurement
