Occupational Therapist (OT)101 Physio — Vaughan, Brampton & Scarborough | GTA In-Home Therapy

101 Physio is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This is a unique opportunity for an OT who enjoys variety and would like to work across multiple clinic locations while also providing occasional in-home therapy throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

The successful candidate will rotate between our Vaughan, Brampton, and Scarborough locations, with opportunities to provide in-home occupational therapy services across the GTA based on client needs.

Position Overview

As an Occupational Therapist at 101 Physio, you will provide assessment, treatment, education, and rehabilitation services to clients with a variety of functional, physical, cognitive, and/or neurological needs.

You will work collaboratively with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and help clients achieve greater independence and participation in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments in clinic and, when required, in clients' homes.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's goals, functional abilities, and needs.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve functional independence and quality of life.
- Address activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), mobility, transfers, home safety, and functional performance.
- Provide recommendations regarding adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications when appropriate.
- Complete functional assessments and provide recommendations related to return to work, school, and/or community participation as appropriate.
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation.




- Communicate effectively with physicians, case managers, insurers, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Participate in case discussions and collaborate with physiotherapists and other rehabilitation professionals.
- Provide occasional in-home therapy throughout the GTA.
- Maintain a high standard of professional, ethical, and client-centred care.
- Travel between 101 Physio's Vaughan, Brampton, and Scarborough locations as required.

What We're Looking For

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Eligible to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Ontario.
- Experience in rehabilitation, community-based care, outpatient therapy, or a related setting is an asset.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A client-centred, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Comfortable working across multiple clinic locations and occasionally providing in-home services.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle are an asset, particularly for in-home therapy.

Occasional in-home therapy throughout the Greater Toronto Area will also be required based on client needs. Pay: $90,000.00 per year
