ON CALL/CASUAL JANITORS

Classification Level: CW-2 ($19.69 – $24.07 / hour)

Position Summary

The Janitor is responsible for keeping Lakeview or Binoojiinh Gamgoonhs clean and sanitized. The Janitor works under the supervision of the Head Custodian.

Qualifications

- Highschool Diploma or Equivalency with at least one-year work-related experience.
- Current WHIMIS CPR and First Aid Certifications or willing to acquire.
- Ability to read and understand labels/instructions for application of cleaning chemical products.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment, to maintain effective working relationships with all Childcare staff.
- Maintain professional attitude when interacting with children, parents, and visitors.




- children and/or vulnerable adults, so a secure and secure working environment is mandatory. Applicants must provide a VSS clear and/or dated of any convictions relating to sexual interference, sexual assault, or related charges. The VSS must be current 30-days and must be an original.

Preference will be given to Anishinabek people.
