Job Overview

We are looking for Online Christian English Tutor for small online classes with bright students. Looking for teachers with strong faith and depth of analysis and understanding for literature. In this role, you will conduct online lessons to students helping them improve their English skills while incorporating Christian values and teachings.

Looking for Teachers who can facilitate:

- Grades 4-6 classes (Junior)
- Grades 7-8 classes (Intermediate)
- Grade 9-10 classes (High School)

Responsibilities

- Conduct interactive online English lessons with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, integrating Christian principles into language learning.
- Develop customized lesson plans that meet individual student needs and learning goals, utilizing a variety of teaching tools and resources.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to motivate continued improvement.
- Create a welcoming and supportive virtual classroom workplace that promotes active participation and confidence building.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student attendance,



and progress reports in accordance with organizational standards.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents or guardians to discuss goals, challenges, and achievements.
- Incorporate additional languages such as Mandarin, French, Spanish, or Japanese when appropriate to enhance understanding and engagement.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English, especially in an online setting or classroom environment.
- Strong writing skills for creating clear lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Experience working with children or young learners is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French, Korean, Mandarin, or Spanish is a valuable asset.
- Familiarity with Christian teachings or background in faith-based education is desirable but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and connect with students across different age groups.
- Prior classroom experience or tutoring experience that demonstrates patience, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
