We are looking for a smart, organized, and highly responsible Remote Operations Team Lead to support and supervise the daily operations of an HVAC and plumbing service company.

This is a long term, stable, permanent remote position, not a temporary or contract role. Full training on our systems, processes, HVAC services, plumbing services, and company procedures will be provided.

Main Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a remote operations and service coordination team
- Prepare job estimates, quotations, and cost calculations
- Assist with construction and project bidding
- Review material, labour, subcontractor, and project costs
- Prepare and manage purchase orders
- Coordinate purchasing and communicate with suppliers and distributors
- Review jobs for quality control and accuracy
- Audit completed and ongoing service jobs
- Review estimates, invoices, technician notes, photos, and job documentation
- Support dispatching and scheduling of field technicians
- Coordinate HVAC and plumbing service calls from start to completion
- Follow up on open jobs, estimates, materials, customers, and technicians
- Create and improve SOPs and internal processes
- Prepare weekly operational and performance reports
- Track team performance and make sure work is completed on time
- Identify mistakes, missing information, cost problems, and operational issues
- Communicate with customers, technicians, suppliers, managers, and other team members
- Help management improve efficiency, quality, customer service, and profitability

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidates may come from many backgrounds, including:
- Engineering
- Finance or Accounting
- Construction Management
- Business or Operations
- Technical Diploma or ITI
- Mechanical or Electrical Trades
- Information Technology
- Other relevant professional backgrounds

Construction, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, or service industry experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Experience in operations, estimating, purchasing, project coordination, construction, dispatching, quality control, or team supervision will be considered an advantage.

Important Requirements

Very strong English communication is required. You must be comfortable speaking and writing in English every day with customers, technicians, suppliers, and management.
