At Waterloo Vision Care Clinic, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care within a warm, vibrant, and collaborative setting. We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Optometric Assistant with a focus on optical sales and frame styling to join our growing team!

What You’ll Do

You will be the heartbeat of our optical boutique, helping patients select the perfect frames and lenses while ensuring a seamless clinic experience. Your core responsibilities will include:

- Optical Sales & Styling: Guide patients through frame and lens selection, offering expert fashion advice, matching styles to face shapes, and explaining lens options/coatings.
- Dispensing & Adjustments: Professionally fit, measure, adjust, and repair eyewear to ensure optimal comfort and visual clarity for every patient.
- Patient Experience & Admin: Greet patients warmly, manage incoming calls, handle appointment scheduling, and process billing and insurance claims.

What We’re Looking For

We value a great eye for style, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn! While previous optical sales, dispensing, or healthcare experience is a strong asset, it is not strictly required—we provide comprehensive, hands-on training for the right candidate.

- Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills to educate patients on eyewear products and options clearly and confidently.
