Position Objectives Summary: The Order Entry Specialist processes incoming customer requests, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency in data entry.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Data Processing: Accurately input and update customer orders, purchase requests, returns and account information into the company's internal ERP system. Process Electronic Data Interface (EDI) transactions

Order Validation: Review order details for completeness, checking for accuracy in pricing, product availability and delivery specifications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:



Work with sales operations team and logistics personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth logistical operations.

Issue Resolution: Handle order-related issues such as discrepancies, changes or cancellations.

Additional Responsibilities / Duties :

- Participate in weekly and/or monthly meetings with the Order Entry Manager and entire Order Entry Team for work prioritization and planning
- Participate in Special Projects as assigned by the Order Entry Manager.

Required Skills / Abilities :

- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times.
- Preserve effectiveness, drive and focus for extended periods of time, while maintaining composure in stressful situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications : Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in data entry, customer service or order processing.
