Job Summary

Join our team as an Overnight Gas Station Attendant and Cashier, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator during the late-night hours. In this vital role, you will manage daily store operations, provide exceptional customer service, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure the safety and cleanliness of the station. Your energetic presence will keep our customers satisfied and our facility running smoothly through the overnight shift.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs in a courteous, professional manner.
- Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts.
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing shelves, restocking products, and ensuring displays are attractive and accessible.
- Perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory counts.
- Monitor station safety by conducting regular inspections of the premises, including fuel pumps, convenience store areas, and parking lot.
- Handle phone inquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette while providing information or directing calls appropriately.




- Manage time effectively to complete all duties during overnight hours while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Keep inside area clean and well maintained
- Keep outside area free of trash
- Empty bins regularly
- Clean washroom

Requirements

- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly preferred to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is a plus, especially in a convenience store or gas station environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
- Experience with technology sales or product demos is advantageous for upselling opportunities.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills are essential.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage merchandising tasks and maintain a clean environment.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision.
- Valuable time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $17.95-$19.20 per hour
