OM Consulting Inc. (OMG Smart Living) is a Vancouver-based consumer electronics company specializing in smart home and audio-video products, including XGIMI smart projectors. We partner with retailers across Canada and are expanding our wholesale network.

The Role

We're looking for a self-driven Part-Time Inside Sales Representative to grow our wholesale business with AV and electronics retail stores. This is primarily a phone/online outreach role — we provide a list of store contacts, and you'll reach out, build relationships, follow up on orders, and introduce our latest products. Occasional in-person store visits in the Greater Vancouver Area may be needed.

Responsibilities

- Contact AV/electronics retail stores by phone, email, and online channels using a company-provided store contact list
- Follow up with warm leads — prospects who have already expressed interest: answer product and pricing questions, provide quotations, and convert interest into wholesale orders
- Build relationships with store owners and managers; follow up on existing wholesale orders and support reordering/restocking
- Present products (smart projectors, AV accessories) through online materials and virtual demos
- Identify and open current wholesale accounts




- Make occasional in-person store visits in the Greater Vancouver Area as needed
- Keep a simple weekly log of outreach activities and hours
- Share market feedback with our team

Requirements
- Previous sales or telesales experience; retail/wholesale electronics experience is a strong asset
- Comfortable with high-volume phone outreach and confident phone manner
- Self-motivated and able to work independently from home
- Reliable phone and internet connection
- Valid BC driver's licence is an asset (for occasional store visits)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Compensation & Terms
- $20/hour, minimum 10 hours per week guaranteed
- 3% commission on wholesale orders generated
- Bi-weekly pay via e-transfer
- Flexible schedule — you plan your own outreach hours
- Initial contract term through December 31, 2026, with the possibility of indefinite extension by mutual agreement;
- Independent contractor position — contractor is responsible for own taxes, remittances, and insurance
