We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Production Assistant to support food preparation and production in a commercial kitchen.

This is a hands-on role involving ingredient preparation, packing, cleaning, and general kitchen support. No skilled cooking experience is required. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, catering, food production, or similar environment is an asset.

We are looking for someone who is efficient, dependable, able to follow instructions, and takes cleanliness and food safety seriously.

Responsibilities

- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients for production
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen production tasks
- Portion, fill, seal, label, and organize packaged food products
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, utensils, and kitchen areas
- Wash and organize cookware, containers, trays, and kitchen tools
- Keep ingredients, packaging materials, and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with moving boxes, ingredients, supplies, and finished products
- Follow food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures
- Support the team with other general kitchen duties as required

Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, restaurant, food preparation, food production, or packing experience is an asset,



but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to follow instructions carefully
- Comfortable standing and working on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable with repetitive preparation, packing, and cleaning tasks
- Able to perform light to moderate lifting
- Good attention to cleanliness and organization
- Able to work efficiently as part of a small team
- Basic food safety knowledge is preferred
- Food Handler Certification is an asset, but not required
- Mandarin speaking is preferred for day-to-day team communication

Schedule This is a part-time position, scheduled mainly around kitchen production days.

Hours may vary depending on production volume.

Pay

Hourly pay is negotiable and based on experience.
