Work location: In person

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.

Hours: 30 paid hours per week, including a paid 30-minute meal break each day

Pay: CA$22–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Disposal King is looking for an experienced, friendly and dependable Telephone & Customer Service Representative to join our Richmond office. You will answer incoming calls, help customers with their questions and service needs, and support accurate bookings and communication with our office and dispatch teams.

Responsibilities

- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Listen to customers, answer questions about our services, and assist with bin rental bookings and service requests.
- Record customer details, messages, booking information and service updates accurately.
- Coordinate with dispatch and office staff to address customer requests and follow up as needed.
- Use our booking platform and office systems to keep customer information organized and up to date.
- Handle customer concerns calmly and refer matters to the appropriate team member when needed.

What we are looking for




- Previous experience in telephone customer service, reception, bookings or a similar office support role is required.
- A professional phone manner, transparent communication and strong listening skills.
- Good organization, attention to detail and accurate computer/data-entry skills.
- Reliability and availability to work in our Richmond office Monday to Friday, 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Work references must be provided as part of the hiring process.

Helpful experience — optional
- QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Experience with the TRUX booking/service management platform is a plus.
- Experience in bin rentals, waste services or a similar service business is an asset.

QuickBooks and TRUX experience are not required. Training will be provided on our services, booking procedures, software and the systems needed for the role.
