This position will be based out of our Vulcan, Alberta location where we support our customers with products such as Bourgault, Stihl, and more! THE ROLE

As a key member of the Vanee Farm Centre Inc. team,



the Parts & Setup Associate reports to the Branch Manager and supports the Parts and Service departments. The primary responsibilities include supporting the Parts Department, shipping and receiving, inventory-related duties, and assisting customers. The position will participate in the on-call parts rotation in the Parts department, assist with machinery setup when required in the Service department, and help with various other jobs around the dealership as required.

Working closely with the Parts Technician, the Parts & Setup Associate will have the chance to learn the parts business, gain hands-on experience with agricultural equipment, and develop their skills across different areas of the dealership. This is an entry-level opportunity for an individual looking to build their knowledge and experience by working with customers, learning the parts business, and gaining hands on experience with agricultural equipment!

The successful candidate will

- Assist customers and technicians with parts needs and inquiries.
- Learn to identify, locate and order parts using parts manuals, systems and available resources.
- Receive, check, organize and put away incoming parts and shipments.
- Assist with shipping parts and preparing orders for customers and service jobs.
- Help maintain accurate and organized parts inventory.
- Assist with inter-branch parts transfers and inventory movement.
- Support the Parts Technician with daily Parts department activities and customer service.




- Participate in the on-call parts rotation as required.
- Assist with machinery setup and preparation for customer delivery.
- Help move, clean and organize equipment around the dealership as required.
- Assist with various dealership tasks and projects during slower periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.

REQUIREMENTS

- High school diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (CAEC) is required.
- An interest or passion for agriculture and agricultural equipment.
- Strong interest in learning and developing new skills.
- Comfortable working with customers and providing friendly, helpful service.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, dependable and willing to be part of a team.
- Ability to work in a hands-on environment and perform physical tasks as required.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a satisfactory driver’s abstract are required.
- Previous experience in agriculture or the agricultural equipment industry is an asset.
- Previous parts, mechanical or equipment experience is an asset.
