Join CHEO as a Nurse Practitioner focusing on pediatric hemoglobinopathy and benign hematology. This role emphasizes clinical practice and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team while operating from Ottawa. As a Nurse Practitioner at CHEO, you will leverage your clinical expertise to manage patients with hemoglobinopathy and related conditions.

You will work closely with the Hematology Interdisciplinary Team to provide direct care and develop individualized transition plans for pediatric patients. This position requires you to work Monday to Friday, from 8 to 4, with opportunities for virtual care. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct direct patient assessments in hemoglobinopathy clinics
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers




- Educate patients and families about health care options
- Participate in clinical research and career development
- Coordinate specialized pre-bone marrow transplant care Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current RN certification in the Extended Class
- 3-5 years of related clinical experience
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
