Penner Doors & Hardware - Sales Manager - Edmonton

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, driving revenue growth across our product and service offerings. In addition this role is responsible for leading and building our Edmonton project management, project coordination, sales representatives and forthcoming sales and service teams .

The ideal candidate will bring experience from the Contract Hardware industry, Wood Door industry, Commercial Door & Frame industry, or a closely related construction products sector. Experience working for a supplier, manufacturer, distributor, or specialty subcontractor serving commercial construction projects will be highly valued. In addition, the ideal candidate must have a proven background in a management role.

Position and Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, consultants, developers, and end users.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial,



institutional, healthcare, education, and industrial construction markets.
- Manage and build the Edmonton Project and Sales Team.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
- Participate in project planning, specification review, and bid opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development plans.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Qualifications and Requirements: Preferred minimum 5 years of sales experience within:

- Contract Hardware
- Commercial Door Hardware
- Hollow Metal Doors & Frames
- Architectural Building Products
- Wood Doors
- Building Materials Distribution
- Commercial Construction Supply
- Related construction product industries

Compensation: This role includes both base salary and a variable compensation plan. Base salary and variable compensation will be dependent on industry experience and proven management experience.
