Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care by monitoring health conditions, taking vital signs, and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals
- Support medication administration as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring proper timing and dosage
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space to promote hygiene and safety




- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics to ensure safety during movement or heavy lifting when necessary

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration and basic nursing skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and care requirements
