Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of support in their daily lives. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will help promote independence, dignity, and well-being for clients across various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to foster independence and comfort
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols to ensure safety and compliance
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, promoting health and well-being
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental health
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry,



and maintaining a safe environment for clients
- Support clients with mobility aids and transfers, ensuring safety during movement
- Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to healthcare professionals promptly

Experience

- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in senior care environments is highly valued
- Assisted living or nursing home experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with diverse care needs
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques to support clients experiencing memory loss or cognitive decline
- Experience in medication administration following proper procedures and safety guidelines
- Strong caregiving background with a focus on compassion, patience, and respect for client dignity
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards in client spaces
- Familiarity with home care practices and providing personalized support tailored to each individual’s needs

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
