Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our compassionate team. In this vital role, you will provide essential assistance to clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving lives through attentive caregiving, fostering independence, and promoting a positive setting for those in your care.

Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication activities
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding to promote proper nutrition and hydration
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment




- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes promptly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Assist with mobility aids and transfers to ensure client safety during movement

Qualifications
- Proven assisted living or nursing home experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Strong background in senior care, dementia care, or home care environments
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and caregiving best practices
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Valid certifications as required by local regulations (e.g., PSW certification) preferred
