Job Title: Power BI / PMO Reporting Specialist

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI / PMO Reporting Specialist to support a large organization in Calgary. This role is focused primarily on hands-on Power BI dashboard and reporting development within a project management environment. The ideal candidate understands PMO and project controls concepts and can translate project information into meaningful dashboards, reporting and insights for project teams and leadership.

What you will be doing:

- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports

- Work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs and information needs

- Translate project and portfolio data into transparent, actionable reporting

- Support PMO processes, templates and project lifecycle documentation

- Identify opportunities to improve and automate reporting and workflows

- Support continuous improvement and standardization initiatives





- Assist with emerging Microsoft automation and AI capabilities where applicable

What you must have:

- Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI

- Good understanding of project management, PMO or project controls environments

- Experience working with project data, KPIs, milestones, risks, schedules, financials or portfolio reporting

- Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, engineering or major capital projects is considered an asset

- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel and SharePoint

- Experience with DAX, Power Query and data modelling is considered an asset

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- Ability to translate business needs into practical reporting solutions

Other Information:

- Candidates must be based in Calgary and available to work onsite five days per week.
- Contract: 6 months
- Schedule: Full-time, onsite
