Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Cook food items efficiently and accurately, maintaining consistency across all plates
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to uphold food safety regulations
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the front-of-house team by serving dishes promptly and courteously when needed




- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

Skills

- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments with a focus on meal preparation and cooking
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and basic culinary techniques
- Positive communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
