The Mediterraneo is a family-owned Greek and Mediterranean restaurant in Waterloo that has been proudly serving our community for over 24 years.

Our kitchen is built around scratch cooking, family recipes, quality ingredients, and doing things the right way.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking prep cook to join our kitchen team.

:

- Prepare meats, sauces, marinades and other ingredients for daily service
- Follow recipes and preparation standars consistently
- Assist with making our signature dishes from scratch
- Portion and organize ingredients for service
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary workstation
- Properly store and label food according to food- safety standards
- Assist the kitchen team with dishes, cleaning and other tasks when needed
- Work efficiently and stay organized during busy periods
- Help ensure the kitchen is properly stocked and ready for service

What We're Looking For

- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual




- Able to work efficiently in a rapid - paced kitchen
- Comfortable standing for extended period and lifting up to 50lbs
- Good attention to detail
- Takes pride in cleanliness and organization
- Able to work independently while also being a team player
