Operating out of our advanced facilities in Southwestern Ontario, we provide high-volume commercial offset printing, digital printing, large format production, and custom rigid packaging solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Press Feeder with hands-on KBA / sheet-fed operator experience to support our growing production team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Stock & Material Loading: Load, stack, and align paper, heavy cardstock, and specialized packaging substrates into the high-speed press feeder unit.
- Feeder Setup & Optimization: Adjust suction heads, side lays, air blowers, and vacuum boards to accommodate various sheet formats and thicknesses.
- Non-Stop Operation Management: Successfully operate non-stop pile changing systems and continuous feeding logistics to ensure steady run speeds and minimal machine downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor electromechanical and ultrasonic double-sheet detectors. Check sheets throughout the press run to verify correct alignment and prevent jams.
- Press Assistant Duties: Assist the Press Operator with make-readies, bending/hanging printing plates, managing ink fountains, and executing swift color changes.
- Routine Maintenance: Keep the feeder and surrounding area clean.



Perform baseline preventative maintenance tasks, including suction head cleaning, lubrication, and assisting with basic roller/blanket upkeep.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Press Feeder or Assistant. Direct experience operating KBA (Koenig & Bauer) Rapida or equivalent multi-colour, large-format sheet-fed offset presses is highly preferred.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Solid troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to safely adjust complex mechanics on high-speed industrial feed boards.
- Attention to Detail: Deep commitment to manufacturing quality, consistency, and reducing paper waste.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of a busy pressroom floor, including standing for extended shifts and safely lifting/moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
