We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in a unique role that combines mechanical engineering, product development and technical support. You will work closely with our team to develop and improve products, create technical documentation and turn that information into clear, useful content for our customers and sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, understanding how complex systems work and communicating technical information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

· Create and modify mechanical designs, drawings and specifications

· Participate in the design and development of new products

· Improve existing products based on customer needs, market opportunities and manufacturing considerations.

· Evaluate materials, components, manufacturing methods and product configurations.

· Work with suppliers and our in-house shop to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.

· Work closely with sales to understand customer feedback and identify opportunities for new or improved products.

· Technical product and industry writing

· Maintain and improve technical product documentation

· Produce new technical articles, product literature and other customer-facing materials

· Turn engineering information into understandable content for customers

· Technical Customer Support

· Internal and external Technical Support for our sanitary valve range

Skills and Abilities

· Education or experience in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, product development, manufacturing engineering or a related technical discipline.

· Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD software and mechanical design experience

· 3+ Years of full-time work experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Self-starting, positive, and adaptable

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how products and systems work.





· Ability to take complex technical information and communicate it clearly.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.

· Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software and systems.

Additional experience in the following would be an asset: Stainless Steel Fabrication, metallurgy, quality control, compliance documentation, and supporting industry related engineering compliance certifications.

· Pay attention to the details while keeping the bigger picture in mind.

· Understand that a great product needs to be both technically sound and commercially useful.
