About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Machine Operator to support our capsule bottling and beverage production lines.

This is an hourly production role responsible for operating and overseeing production equipment, keeping machines supplied with packaging materials, performing basic troubleshooting, completing in-process quality checks, and helping keep production running safely and efficiently.

The primary responsibility will be operating capsule counting and bottling equipment. Depending on the production schedule, you may also work on our beverage line as a case packer, oversee palletizing equipment, and assist with other general production and labour tasks throughout the facility.

We’re a small and growing team, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable being hands-on, moving between different responsibilities when needed, and taking ownership of the equipment and area they are assigned to.

Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, monitor, and oversee capsule counting and bottling equipment
- Load bottles, closures, caps, desiccant rolls, and other packaging materials into production equipment
- Monitor machines throughout production and replenish materials as required to keep the line running
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting when equipment jams, stops, or is not operating correctly
- Escalate mechanical or equipment issues that cannot be resolved through basic troubleshooting
- Perform regular in-process checks, including capsule counts, bottle and closure quality, desiccant placement, label or packaging condition, and general product quality
- Identify and report quality issues, equipment problems, or other production concerns
- Complete required production, quality, and equipment records accurately
- Follow production instructions, specifications,



standard operating procedures, and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, setup, and preparation between production runs
- Work as a case packer on the beverage production line as required
- Monitor and assist with palletizing equipment and finished product handling
- Pack finished products into cases and prepare products for palletizing and movement within the facility
- Assist with moving raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished goods as required
- Perform general production and labour duties throughout the facility based on operational needs
- Follow all health and safety, food safety, GMP, sanitation, and quality procedures
- Work closely with other production team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets
- Help identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and equipment operation

What We’re Looking For

Must have:

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working around and operating production machinery
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable performing basic equipment troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when performing product and quality checks
- Ability to follow written production instructions, procedures, and specifications
- Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Able to perform physical production and general labour duties, including lifting, carrying, packing, loading, and moving materials
- Comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Willing to move between different machines, production lines,



and general labour responsibilities based on operational needs
- Able to communicate equipment, production, and quality issues clearly to supervisors and other team members
- Willing and able to work fully in person at our Mississauga facility

Nice to have:

- Previous machine operator or production equipment experience
- Experience with capsule counting, bottling, packaging, filling, labeling, or similar automated equipment
- Experience in food, beverage, supplement, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing
- Experience performing production quality checks and completing production records
- Experience with case packing, palletizing, conveyors, or automated packaging equipment
- Basic mechanical or maintenance experience
- Experience working in a GMP or food safety environment

Schedule

- Full-time, hourly position working in person at our Mississauga facility
- Typical production schedule is approximately 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Thursday
- Scheduled hours may change depending on production requirements, customer demand, maintenance, or other operational needs
- Work schedules will generally be confirmed approximately two weeks in advance
- Some flexibility to work different hours or additional days may be required based on production needs
- Overtime may be available or required depending on operational requirements

Compensation $21/hour

Overtime and other applicable pay will be provided in accordance with employment standards.
