Pro-quality jerseys for the people who love the game The fan who finally gets their favourite player's name on their back. The company outfitting its whole team for a big night at the rink. The beer-league squad that wants to look like the real thing. They all expect the same thing: the right font, the right placement, the right colours, exactly like what they see on TV, and delivered when we promised.

We make that happen for fans of pro hockey teams, for corporate groups, and for rec and beer leagues. We're looking for the production leader who gets a charge out of doing it at pro quality, at volume, on time.

Why this role, and why now

- It's yours. You'll own all of production: two sites in two countries (Canada and US). You report to the COO and sit next to decisions.
- You'll build, not babysit. We're always improving and optimizing. Your calls shape what this operation becomes.
- Your system is built for you. Production runs on an AI-centric platform that you'll be able to directly influence.
- Your wins are visible. Our key metrics are visible and transparent. When you move them, everyone sees it.

About Keener Jerseys For over 20 years, Keener Jerseys has been building a reputation as one of the top jersey customizers in North America — from beer leagues to professional hockey teams across North America. Led by co-founder and jersey-genius Chris "Keener" Dougherty, we bring pro-level craftsmanship and a championship customer experience to every client we touch. From Joes to pros, every project gets treated like it matters. Because it does. What you own The production plan

- Build and run the production schedule across both sites so every work order finishes on time
- Make sure pre-assembly (cutting, printing, sublimation, layering, embroidery) is done ahead of assembly
- Keep orders for our various customer segments moving in balance, so rush orders don't starve the rest
- Review each order's requirements and confirm that staff, materials, and equipment are lined up well in advance
- Review the sales forecast and tell leadership what's feasible, where capacity is short, and what you recommend
- Plan for seasonal peaks and for the monthly, quarterly and annual tasks that keep production running
- Own customer-facing production escalations,

working with sales and customer service on recovery plans

Your daily rhythm

- Review our systems' live view of the floor for output and staffing (too many or too few people in an area)
- Align ship dates between our schedule and assembly partners, where applicable
- Check that pre-assembly will be ready on time at every site, and monitor the Material Resource Planner
- Monitor embroidery cleaning and quality
- Lead or check in on the floor stand-up at each site

People

- Provider leadership for the lead hands and supervisors at both sites. Make sure they know their role, follow their checklists, and coach their teams
- Delegate day-to-day floor work to lead hands, so your time goes to planning, partners and improvement
- Handle staff issues (attendance, conflict, performance) promptly and fairly
- Approve shift coverage and time off so every area is staffed for the schedule
- Hire, onboard, review and, when needed, manage out production staff, with COO approval for hires and terminations. Get new staff productive quickly
- Balance workloads across areas and sites as demand shifts

Quality

- Enforce our quality standards on every jersey, and raise the bar over time
- Track rework and defects, find the root cause, and fix the process rather than the symptom

Materials and equipment

- Make sure raw materials are tracked, ordered, received and stored before they're needed
- Own supplier contacts and accounts for production supplies
- Keep machinery (embroidery machines, sublimation printers, laser cutters, heat presses) maintained on schedule and repaired fast when it breaks
- Keep an up-to-date list of who to call when equipment has a problem
- Evaluate and source current equipment and production methods

Our digital production platform Our platform runs orders, work orders, the production schedule, kit and item styles, our checklists, and training. You'll be expected to master it,

not just use it:

- Run production entirely in the system: customer POs and orders, work orders, kit and item styles, and the production schedule
- Keep order data accurate and current every day, so sales, customer service and customers see the truth
- Report daily output by area (cutting and printing, pressing, sewing) and by person from the system, and present results to the leadership team
- Train lead hands and supervisors on the system, and track their progress through its training courses
- Propose and prioritize system improvements for production with our technology team

Improvement and safety

- Apply lean principles to cut waste and raise output per labour hour
- Standardize processes across both sites, and write them down as checklists and workflow diagrams
- Keep workspaces clean and safe, and make sure health and safety rules are followed at both sites
