Hatch is seeking an enthusiastic Estimating Co-op Student to join its Project Delivery Group. This role involves developing detailed capital cost estimates aligned with established standards and guidelines. You will enhance your estimating skills through practical tasks and real-world experience across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive capital cost estimates using AACE classifications
• Adhere to Project Lifecycle Process and Global Estimating Guidelines
• Familiarize with project scope, deliverables, and formats




• Calculate direct and indirect costs based on first principles
• Monitor and enhance estimating database continuously
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering degree program
• Previous experience in EPCM and first principle estimating
• Proficient in MS Office and estimating tools
• Hands-on experience with D.F.L and production rates
• Understanding of EPC/LSTK estimating techniques
