Our client is a well established food manufacturing business in the Vancouver area, looking for a Production Supervisor to join their busy plant as a people leader and process leader.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities to ensure production targets and schedules are met.
- Lead, train, and support production staff to maintain productivity and quality.
- Monitor production processes to ensure food safety, quality, and hygiene standards are followed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food safety requirements.
- Monitor product quality, production efficiency, and equipment performance.
- Coordinate with maintenance to address equipment breakdowns and production issues.
- Ensure proper use of raw materials, packaging materials, and production resources.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
- Identify production problems and implement improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
- Ensure the production area is clean,



organized, and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with quality assurance, warehouse, maintenance, and other departments.
- Ensure employees follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices.

Requirements:

- Experience in a production or supervisory role in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality control requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage production schedules and meet deadlines.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with production reports, inventory, and manufacturing processes.
