Propulsion Controls Software Engineer – Windsor, ON

We are seeking an experienced Propulsion Controls Software Engineer to develop and integrate prototype embedded software for engine, hybrid, and electrified propulsion controllers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop embedded control software using C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
- Work with AUTOSAR Classic, SystemDesk, ARXML, RTE, BSW, and SWCs.
- Configure/integrate AUTOSAR using Vector DaVinci and/or ETAS ISOLAR.
- Develop and troubleshoot CAN communications, ECU interfaces, and software integration.
- Support MIL, HIL, dyno, and vehicle testing, calibration, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Use Git and support ECU build, integration, and release activities.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science,



or related field.
- 5+ years of automotive embedded software/controls experience.
- Solid C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, and AUTOSAR experience.
- Experience with CAN, RTE/BSW, ECU integration, and calibration tools such as INCA.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across software, communications, controls, and ECU hardware.

Preferred: 8+ years of experience with engine/propulsion, hybrid, or electrified powertrain controls and hands-on AUTOSAR BSW/foundation software experience. Pay: $37.00-$37.86 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
