About the Position The Protobay Worker is responsible for interpreting blueprints, fitting and assembling metal components, and performing welding operations to produce custom prototypes that meet company quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About You You are able to work in a rapidly changing environment, are highly proficient in design planning to ensure timely completion of assignments,



are willing to work in a team environment and have excellent problem-solving skills.

You must be able to accommodate multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment, be self-directed and willing to take initiative.

Experience/Skills/Education

Required:

- Previous experience as a Welder/Fitter, Fabricator, or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and welding best practices.
- Experience using measuring instruments and fabrication tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and positive work ethic.
- Computer literacy.

Preferred:

- Welding certifications are an asset.
- Experience with custom fabrication projects.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
