- Assessing client condition to formulate diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment

- Provide counselling services face-to-face, over the phone, and online

- Listening to clients and understanding their needs

- Building robust relationships of trust and respect





- Encouraging clients to discuss emotions and personal experiences

- Use a holistic approach to mental health care

Skills and Qualifications

- Strong counselling skills and ability to work with a wide range of mental health issues

- Knowledge of trauma informed practices

- Oral and written communication

- Organizational and time management skills

- Patience and empathy

- Confidence and trustworthiness

- Knowledge of current developments and research in mental health

Experience requirements

- Ph.D. in Psychology

- Must be in good standing with governing body
