NewCare Counselling is a counselling and psychotherapy private practice located in Brantford, Ontario. We offer in-person and virtual support for teens and adults, specializing in anxiety, self-esteem, relationships and couples counselling. Role Description

This is an independent contractor role for a Psychotherapist/ Social Worker based in Brantford, ON. We are looking for you to build up to 12-17 hours of availability per week- you can be as flexible as you would like with your availability and can offer daytime, evening or weekend appointments, or any combination of the above! We will work to fill your caseload at a comfortable pace over the course of the first few months, and we offer regular check-ins and ongoing group supervision to ensure your transition to the practice and work is supported.

Responsibilities

As a Psychotherapist/ Social Worker at NewCare Counselling, you will be responsible for providing counselling and psychotherapy services- this includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans,



delivering therapy sessions, and evaluating client progress. The role will involve working 1:1 with teens and adults, as well as couples counselling. This is an mainly on-site position, with some remote work possible.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related field

Registration with a relevant professional college/association (RP, RSW) *Not accepting RP (Qualifying) applicants at this time

Experience in providing counseling and psychotherapy services to clients

Strong assessment, intervention, and evaluation skills

Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
