Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic PTA/Bodyworker to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting patient recovery and well-being through hands-on therapy, massage, patient care, and assisting with therapeutic exercises. Responsibilities

- Assist licensed therapists and healthcare professionals with patient treatments, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises
- Provide hands-on bodywork techniques to promote relaxation, pain relief, and improved mobility
- Support patient care activities by preparing treatment areas and ensuring patient comfort throughout sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and patient responses in accordance with medical protocols
- Follow infection control procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff




- Communicate clearly with patients about procedures, expectations, and post-treatment care instructions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

Qualifications

- Prior hospital experience or clinical exposure is highly preferred
- Experience working in acute care settings is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with compassionate communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapy and healthcare environments
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Certification or licensing as a PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) or equivalent bodyworker qualification is required or pending certification status acceptable for application
