QUALITY CONTROL - QUALITY ASSURANCE

Full-Time | Two Positions Available

Position Overview

Green Earth Organics is seeking Quality Control / Quality Assurance professionals to support our fresh produce operation. These team members will help ensure incoming product, production processes and finished goods consistently meet our quality, food safety, customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Inspect incoming raw materials and fresh produce for quality and specification compliance.

· Conduct in-process and finished-product inspections.

· Monitor product quality, condition, temperature, packaging, labelling and traceability.

· Complete and maintain accurate QA/QC documentation.

· Identify non-conforming product and initiate appropriate corrective action.

· Work with production and warehouse teams to resolve quality issues.

· Support food safety programs, audits and regulatory requirements.

· Assist with investigations, corrective and preventive actions.

· Monitor compliance with sanitation, GMP and food safety procedures.





· Support traceability exercises and product recalls when required.

Qualifications

· Previous Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience, preferably in food, produce or manufacturing.

· Knowledge of CFIA requirements, GMPs, HACCP and food safety principles is a strong asset.

· Food science, quality assurance or related education is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.

· Strong attention to detail, documentation and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving production environment.
