Big West Ford is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Quick Lane Service Advisor to join our busy Service Department.

As the primary point of contact for customers visiting our Quick Lane Service Centre, you will play an important role in delivering an productive, professional, and positive service experience. From greeting customers and preparing repair orders to coordinating with technicians and communicating maintenance recommendations, you will help ensure every service visit runs smoothly.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and has a genuine interest in automotive maintenance and repair. If you are organized, mechanically inclined, and willing to go the extra mile for customers, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional service throughout their visit
- Prepare accurate repair orders for oil changes, routine maintenance, and light repairs
- Verify customer and vehicle information and document requested services
- Discuss vehicle maintenance requirements, inspection findings, and recommended repairs with customers
- Work closely with technicians and parts staff to coordinate service work and ensure timely completion
- Communicate service progress, additional maintenance recommendations, and estimated costs clearly and professionally
- Review completed work and explain services performed and associated charges to customers
- Assist with service scheduling, customer follow-ups, and appointment reminders
- Address customer questions and concerns promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain an organized, clean, and professional service reception area




- Support daily Quick Lane operations and assist with additional duties as required

Qualifications

- Previous automotive service advisor or dealership experience is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good understanding of automotive maintenance, mechanical systems, and basic repair procedures
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced service environment
- Comfortable working with computers and dealership service management systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with technicians, parts staff, and fellow team members
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
