ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll become an important part of the residential team, providing consistent support and helping young people feel safe,



valued and able to achieve their potential.

You’ll support with

Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people

Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive development

Creating a safe, stable and nurturing home environment

Helping young people develop confidence, independence and life skills

Supporting daily routines, meals, activities and appointments

Encouraging education, hobbies and community activities

Responding calmly and appropriately to challenging or distressed behaviour

Following care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures

Acting as a positive role model and maintaining appropriate boundaries

Working closely with colleagues, families and other professionals

Maintaining accurate records and providing clear handovers
