Cozen O'Connor is seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Associate with a minimum of three years of real estate law experience to join our growing Toronto office.

The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions and matters, including, but not limited to:

· Commercial real estate purchase/sale transactions

· Real estate financing transactions

· Due diligence, title review, and transactional support

· Drafting and negotiating agreements and transaction documents

· Asset backed lending

· Loan restructuring

· Mortgage enforcement

· Joint venture and partnership arrangements

· Direct client contact and responsibility appropriate to experience level

Qualifications

· Minimum 3 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law at a law firm

· Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills

· Excellent academic credentials





· Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario

· Strong client service orientation and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
