About Unionville College

Unionville College (UC) is a highly regarded, co-educational private school in Markham, Ontario, offering an advanced and enriched curriculum from Pre-Casa through Grade 12. We are seeking a RECE teacher to work with students between the ages of 2 to 6 yrs, in a classroom alongside a Montessori Teacher. Must be available to work shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm.

The ideal RECE candidate is very passionate about children and is knowledgeable of the child's development, from a physical, emotional, and mental component. The candidate will actively engage with children and ensure supervision and safety of children at all times. This teacher will have strong communication skills, a caring, loving and nurturing nature, have the ability to work in a team setting, while having fun in their environment.

Montessori knowledge is an asset but not mandatory. Stimulating lesson plans, great creative ideas and, generally an enriched program for children, will be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications:

- RECE diploma/degree is required
- Registered with the College of ECE in good standing
- Must be 18 yrs or older
- Have an up-to-date standard first aid with child CPR certification




- Have a current PVSC
