Lakeshore Manor Chestermere is looking for a Recreation Aide to join our team!

Duties Include

- Assist in planning and implementing recreational activities for residents in an Independent Living Home
- Engage residents in various activities such as games, arts and crafts, exercise programs, and social events
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Help residents with mobility and assist them in participating in activities
- Maintain a secure and clean environment for residents during recreational activities

Experience: -Education in a recreation aide course is preferred.

-Class 4 driver's license or be willing to obtain one.

- Previous experience is preferred
- Knowledge of the needs and challenges faced by seniors in an Independent Living Home
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors




- Strong organizational skills to assist in planning and coordinating recreational activities

As a Recreation Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our facility. Your dedication and passion for providing meaningful activities will contribute to their overall well-being. Must have a current Criminal Record Check (within 6 months) or able to obtain one prior to starting work.
