Automotive Technician (Red Seal) – North Vancouver Budget Brake and Muffler Auto Centre

Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour + Benefits

Schedule: 5 days a week, Full-time

About Us: We are a family-owned, independent shop that has been operating on the North Shore for over 35 years. We keep a steady volume of work, maintain a clean environment, and look after our team.

The Role: We are looking for a licensed Red Seal Tech who takes pride in being an all-around professional. Because we are a close-knit independent team, our success relies on everyone supporting each other to keep the bays moving smoothly.We pay a top-market hourly rate to bring in a versatile technician who values a collaborative environment. We look for someone who is equally happy diving into complex diagnostic puzzles as they are stepping up to help the team with routine maintenance, tire work, or keeping the shop organized when the day gets busy.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide variety of makes and models.
- Discuss findings clearly with the front counter to build accurate repair estimates.
- Perform full-scope repairs (brakes, suspension, engines, and components).




- Handle standard maintenance tasks (oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, alignments, and road tests).
- Work together to keep the bays organized, protected, and efficient.

Requirements:

- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification.
- Valid BC Driver’s License.
- Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive, team-first attitude.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
