Total Transload Services is a bulk material handling and logistics company based out of Sturgeon County in Alberta. We provide customized transloading, storing, and delivery solutions to our clients.

We are currently looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, repairs, and general maintenance of equipment and structures used in our industrial operations.

The ideal candidate is a skilled, safety-conscious self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities In this role, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Perform welding and fabrication work using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes.
- Weld and fabricate components using carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and welding specifications.
- Fabricate, modify, repair, and install equipment, piping, structural components, and other steelwork as required.
- Perform repairs and modifications to industrial and material handling equipment.
- Use grinders, saws, drills, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete work safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Follow all applicable safety requirements and wear required PPE.
- Assist with general maintenance and other duties as required.

Requirements

- Valid CWB certification required.




- Demonstrated experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding.
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Previous fabrication experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environment is an asset.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license is an asset.
- Own tools are an asset.
- Must be safety conscious, reliable, and dependable.
- Must be willing to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
